Katrina Kaif continues to bag important roles consolidating her standing in Bollywood as a favorite amongst directors, both because of her professionalism as well as her across the board appeal as a new generation Indian woman.

She will feature in yet another film by Prakash Jha, her Rajneeti director. The film – Aarakshan - additionally headlines Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan.

In Aarakshan, she will be paired with Ajay Devgn for the first time. Set in the world of academia, education and job reservations the film has the Big B as a college principal and Devgn, his favourite student, a member of the backward class who supports the job-reservation issue.

Amitabh Bachchan has been rejected by CPM as the brand ambassador of Kerala Tourism.

The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) has said that Amitabh is already appointed as Brand Ambassador of tourism in Gujarat and the Left Front Government in Kerala must not have him as the Brand Ambassador.

Sitaram Yechury, CPM Polit Bureau Member, told that the central leadership of CPM does not like the idea of having Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador.

Big B who was in Kerala for few events, answered in a TV interview that he would like to become Kerala tourism’s brand ambassador. As good as it can be, Kerala Tourism wrote to him and they received a positive answer.

While the Kerala Tourism Minister agrees that quite a few people have expressed their displeasure in choosing Amitabh as the tourism ambassador, he told nothing has been confirmed yet. He also added that opposition from the main CPM office in Delhi was quite a big surprise to all them.

Big surprises or not, Big B wouldn’t want to be rejected and then dejected.
