Housefull 2 is an upcoming Bollywood action comedy film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is the sequel to the 2010 Bollywood commercially successful movie Housefull. The film will star Akshay Kumar opposite Asin Thottumkal in the lead.

It will also feature Ritesh Deshmukh, Boman Irani, Randhir Kapoor and Chunkey Pandey from the original whilst new additions include John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Zarine Khan, Shazahn Padamsee, Shreyas Talpade and others. It also features veteran actors such as Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor in supporting roles.

The flick is scheduled for release on April 5, 2012.

Bengali Bombshell Bipasha Basu is working hard for image makeover.Bipasha is towards some serious Cinema highlighting social issues.

Bipasha is more than happy to be associated with this thinking film (like Aakrosh, Lamha…) because she truly believes that mainstream actors should devote time to films that talk about political crisis (Lamha) and social evils (Aakrosh).

Aakrosh is all about Honour Killings. Bipasha plays the main person who helps in the investigation of the honour killings that rock a village in North India. “It’s a very nicely told story…within a thriller format,” she says. “Honour killings are a burning topic. And we must not run from it.”

In her upcoming flick ‘Aakrosh‘, Bips portrays a charcter of girl named Geeta, who is bitten up by her husband. She told to the media that the role was really challenging as its very much unlike Bipasha Basu.

Honour killings are not something that happen only in the illiterate ranks of society,” says Bipasha.

She adds, “They happen in an educated world… and we should address these issues because if we bury our heads like ostriches, we may not seen the sand-storm that is bound to hit us. I want to get more people aware of these realities and if my film or my role offers me an opportunity to create this awareness, I’ll make the most of it. Apart from just entertaining, this is an intrinsic part of me. When I get a platform to share it, why not use it?”
