Kangana Ranaut has moved out of Deepa Mehta‘s ‘Midnight’s Children‘.Previously Kangana had agreed to star in ‘Midnight’s Children‘, but now she has refused as she doesn’t have dates.

Kangana is busy with ‘Dhamaal 2‘ which follows Salman Khan’s movie that is to be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Moreover, she has committed for David Dhawan’s ‘Rascal’, Pritish Nandy’s film ‘Actor’ with Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Bullet Train’ by Priyadarshan, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘No Problem’ and ‘Knockout’.

When Deepa Mehta decided to make film out of Salman Rushdie‘s novel ‘Midnight’s Children‘, She also decided to have Kangana Ranaut in one of the roles, character named Emerald.

But now as she has refused, Deepa is really very upset as she had second and third choices for other characters but not for Emerald’s role.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally agreed to work with Shyam Benegal.The film will go on floors next year.

The subject of the flick is female-oriented.Ash confirmed that the project is very special and not a period film,but takes actress into different time zone.

Previously Aishwarya was offered Benegal‘s ‘Chamki Chameli‘, an adaptation of Georges Bizet‘s classic French opera Carmen, but things didn’t work out.

The official announcement of the film is yet to be done.
