Asin Thottumkal is the gal with the sudden change of luck in tinsel town these days. The actress who was last seen in the bolly flick ‘London Dreams’, with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan, was about to leave bolly for good, when the good Samaritan Salman Khan ventured in and persuaded director Anees Bazmee to sign her in his next project with the hunk Salman himself in it too.

Now, the actress’ luck seems to have been touched with Salman’s good luck wand. Recently, the south Indian beauty has been chosen and honored as the Youth icon of Kerala Title.

The actress, who is very popular in her home town Kerala, was given the title after a poll was held for 15 days. There were many other distinguished personalities of the south competing with her. But Asin was chosen with a big marginal win over others. The gal is so popular that every Keralite is said to be very proud of her.

Asin was given the Award by a small girl of about 7-8 years of age, as the girl is very inspired by Asin. A cash prize was also given to the actress, but she donated the amount to a hospital. The money will be used by the Palliative care department, which is in charge of controlling the severity of any deadly disease symptoms. Thus, this southern beauty has struck her good luck chime and HOW!
